Car hire prices in Agadir: the rate by category

The MPVs (Dacia Dokker, Dacia Lodgy, Renault Kangoo) start from €40 per day. The 4×4s (Dacia Duster, Mitsubishi Pajero, Volkswagen Touareg, Range Rover) start from €55 per day. These two ranges are booked on request: the fleet is smaller, and the exact price depends on the model and the period. The simplest thing is to look at the catalogue of available vehicles then give your dates.

The 7-day reduced rate: the threshold that tips the budget

Going up to 7 days is not a cosmetic discount. For a city car, the daily rate drops from €25 to €20, i.e. €5 less per day. Over a full week, that makes a clear difference.

• City car, 6 days: 6 × 25 € = 150 €
• City car, 7 days: 7 × 20 € = 140 €
• Saloon, 6 days: 6 × 30 € = 180 €
• Saloon, 7 days: 7 × 25 € = 175 €

Read the first pair carefully: a full week in a city car works out cheaper than six days. If your stay falls on 5 or 6 days of hire, ask for the 7-day price before deciding. Sometimes the extra day comes free through the calculation itself, and you keep the car until the last moment.

Beyond that, the reduced rate still applies: 10 days in a city car comes to €200, 14 days to €280. In a saloon, 10 days comes to €250 and 14 days to €350.

What is included in the price

The daily rate quoted is not a teaser price to which extra lines get added once you are there. It includes:

• Unlimited mileage. Going to Essaouira, heading up to Marrakech, making a detour via Paradise Valley: no meter is running against you.
• Third-party liability insurance, compulsory for driving in Morocco.
• Assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including at weekends and on public holidays.
• Free delivery anywhere in Agadir : Al Massira airport, hotel, city centre, your accommodation. No surcharge, no shuttle to catch, no desk to hunt for after a night flight.
• No deposit, no advance payment, no security deposit. Nothing is blocked on your card, neither before, nor during, nor after.

This last point weighs more heavily on a holiday budget than it seems. When no sum is tied up during the stay, your card limit stays entirely available for everything else: hotel, restaurants, fuel, souvenirs.

What stays at your expense

It is worth saying it clearly, this is what is missing from most price comparisons.

• Damage to the vehicle is not covered. If you are responsible for damage to the car, the repair is at your expense. That is the counterpart of a rate with no deposit and no security payment: nothing is blocked up front, but nothing is covered either on the bodywork and mechanical side if you are liable.
• Fuel. It is at your expense, and the vehicle is returned with the same level as at the start.
• Fines remain the hirer's responsibility.
