The essentials in three lines

  • At Carsalis, car delivery and collection are free in Agadir: at your hotel, at Al Massira airport or in the city centre.

Your stay starts with a transfer: someone meets you at the airport, you reach the hotel at the end of the day and spend the first evening there. You will need the car the next morning, for the beach, the souk or the coast road. In that case, the simplest option is to have the car delivered straight to your hotel. Here is how it works at Carsalis.

Why the hotel rather than the airport

Agadir Al Massira airport is outside the city, about 24 km from the city centre: allow around thirty minutes' drive. If your trip already includes a transfer to the hotel, picking up the car at the airport gains you nothing. You would be getting behind the wheel at the end of the day, tired from the journey, on a road you do not know, only to park a car you will not use until the next day.

There is also the question of how days are counted. Rental is charged in 24-hour blocks: starting the rental the next morning, rather than on the evening you arrive, can save you an extra day, depending on what time you return the car.

Free delivery in Agadir

Our rule is published on our booking request : vehicle delivery and collection are free in Agadir, whether at the airport, at your hotel or in the city centre.

Outside Agadir, a surcharge of €60 per journey applies for Marrakech, Essaouira and Taroudant; for any other town, it is on request. A pick-up and a return outside Agadir count as two journeys. Everything else follows our rental conditions, just as for a car picked up at the airport: unlimited mileage, 24/7 assistance, and a flat €10 cleaning fee, charged once per booking.

What to include in your request

A smooth hotel delivery comes down to two pieces of information: the name of the hotel and the time you want the car. Write the name exactly as it appears on your hotel booking, and add the address if you have it. For the time, work from your plans for the first day: after breakfast for a quiet day, earlier if you have an excursion lined up.

In the same message, add the car you want, chosen from our fleet, along with the return date, time and place. Even if the car will be waiting for you at the hotel, give us your flight number, where it is flying from and a number we can reach on WhatsApp: these are part of the information we need to confirm the booking. Once availability and price are confirmed, send a copy of your passport and driving licence by WhatsApp.

Delivery day

At the agreed time, the car arrives at your hotel. Keep your phone reachable on WhatsApp around the scheduled time : it is the easiest way to find each other outside the hotel. Have your driving licence on you, and ask your hotel whether it has parking for guests: you will know where to park the car in the evening.

Check the fuel gauge when you are handed the keys: you will return the car with the same fuel level as recorded at delivery.

As for payment, our preferred method is bank transfer; the details are given to you on confirmation. Payment on arrival is still possible under certain conditions, to be agreed with us at the time of confirmation: in cash, or by card with 5% bank charges.

Collection: at the hotel or elsewhere in Agadir

You do not have to return the car where you received it. Collection is free in Agadir, just like delivery: at your hotel, at the airport or in the city centre. Give the return location in your request, and let us know if your plans change.

A handy combination: delivery to the hotel the day after you arrive, return at the airport on the day you leave. You drive there yourself, with no transfer to book. In that case, we advise returning the car 2 hours before your flight departs. If you return it at the hotel, allow for the journey to the airport, around thirty minutes from the city centre, with time to spare.

For the return time, two rules in our conditions matter. Any day begun by more than 2 hours is charged as an extra day, and a delay of more than 2 hours without prior agreement means a full day is charged. Example: delivered at 10:00 and returned at 13:00 on the last day, the car counts as one extra day. If you are leaving later, message us beforehand to agree on a new time.

Hotels in Tamraght and Taghazout: message us

Is your hotel on the north coast? Tamraght is about 15 to 18 km from Agadir, around twenty minutes' drive, and Taghazout about 20 to 25 km along national road 1: allow 20 to 30 minutes. These villages do not appear in our published delivery price list, which names Agadir, Marrakech, Essaouira and Taroudant; anywhere else, delivery is on request.
